Nameless by Jennifer Jenkins Review Tour
Nameless by Jennifer Jenkins
Publication Date: October 6, 2015
Publisher: Month9Books
Genre: YA, Dystopian
Four clans have been at war for centuries: the Kodiak, the Raven, the Wolf and the Ram. Through brutal war tactics, the Ram have dominated the region, inflicting death and destruction on their neighbors.
Seventeen-year-old Zo is a Wolf and a Healer who volunteers to infiltrate the Ram as a spy on behalf of the allied clans. She offers herself as a Ram slave, joining the people who are called the “nameless.” Hers is a suicide mission – Zo’s despair after losing her parents in a Ram raid has left her seeking both revenge and an end to her own misery. But after her younger sister follows her into Rams Gate, Zo must find a way to survive her dangerous mission and keep her sister safe.
What she doesn’t expect to find is the friendship of a young Ram whose life she saves, the confusing feelings she develops for a Ram soldier, and an underground nameless insurrection. Zo learns that revenge, loyalty and love are more complicated than she ever imagined in the first installment of this two-book series.
Other news:
NAMELESS is in development for film by Benderspink! That’s the same company who optioned Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen and produced the
I AM NUMBER FOUR film!
With her degree in History and Secondary Education, Jennifer had every intention of teaching teens to love George Washington and appreciate the finer points of ancient battle stratagem. (Seriously, she’s obsessed with ancient warfare.) However, life had different plans in store when the writing began. As a proud member of Writers Cubed, and a co-founder of the Teen Author Boot Camp, she feels blessed to be able to fulfill both her ambition to work with teens as well as write Young Adult fiction.
Jennifer has three children who are experts at naming her characters, one loving, supportive husband, a dog with little-man syndrome, and three chickens (of whom she is secretly afraid).

Review
I am so excited about this book. I can't even explain the amazingness that this story is. People, listen, you will want to read this book! That is all, mic drop... Walk off the stage..... :) high five Jennifer Jenkins!
The story....
Ok, long story short, the story is f*N amazing. Hahaha. Ok ok fine, the story line is well written, and beautifully put together. The descriptions and explanations about scenes and people are written to put the reader in the story. I could very easily put myself into this story, feel the emotions, and dammit all if you don't feel the need to throat punch people.
I have always been a huge fan of "clan" stories. Starting with Clan of the Cave Bear, by Jean M. Auel, one of my first book loves. I bring this up because, simply stated, this book reminds me so much of the feelings I had while reading Clan of the Cave Bear. I love the undercover, the rebellion, the moral aspects, and the overall humanity that pours from the characters in Nameless.
Speaking of characters......
Ummmmmm... Can we speak on the sexiness of Gryphon and Gabe, cause damn. Any way..... Let me remove my head from the gutter.
Every character in Nameless is original and alive. Each characters' personality shines through and let's you know they are there. From Zo to the seer, from Gryphon to Stone, every character plays an integral part in this wonderful creation.
Final thoughts.....
Now that I have rambled on and on, Nameless is one of my fall favorites! I can't tell enough times to get out there and read this book. You will not be disappointed.
5 out of 5 baubles!!!!!
P.S
Jennifer Jenkins, HELL YES YOU DID!!! Freaking amazing. I literally am in love with this book! I need the second book! ASAP..... Like now. Please lol. :). You did one hell of a job. Thank you for this book!!

REVIEW
When I first started reading this book I was captivated by the scene. This beautifull marsh filled and backwoods southern charm is amazing. I love the lore of the herbal healing and the warm feeling that I got when I read this book. The characters are rich and full of life and a rebel spirit that will have anyone cheering for their love to succeede.
Tess is a teenager that is stuck at a traditional crossroad in her life. Go to college or not go to college. Tess gets denied admission to her mothers college and feels like she is not good enough or smart enough to go to college. So Tess decides to take the summer to figure a few things out. But what Tess finds is not necessairly what she was looking for.
Jacob is a college student that is connected to Tess in more ways than one. They meet in the most amazing way, and a love starts to blossom. Neither one of them are aware of all the ways they are truly connected and reading them figure these ways out and work through them will keep you turning pages into the morning hours.
The social and moral issues of race and religion presented in this book are beautifully written and will have any reader's heart pounding through the duration of the story. This is an amazing book that I will reccomend to everyperson I know. Being a Social Worker this book hits on many issues are that are still present today, not as "in your face" but still present. This book is deffenitly and amazing read. I suggest everyone of you go buy this RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

Review:
Ok, WOW! That's all I have to say. Well, mabey not, but this book is amazing. From beginning to end I was captivated by the village and the magic of this story. The main characters are vibrant and strong willed. The idea of a village where the men have to wear masks and the women "control" them is an amazing idea. Not of course because I am a women, but because the social implications of a different type of society are awesome. This book hits on many things. From magic, sociology, fighting, to love and reckless abandon. Amy Mcnulty did an amazing job creating a story that anybody will enjoy reading.
We meet Noll. Headstrong and a fighter. She decides to fight for what she wants and what she believes. Noll is a character that anyone can fall in love with. And the lord....... oh don't get me started..... This story has twist and turns that you do not see coming. An amazing book by an amazing author. Go and read this book ASAP!!!
